AI Chat works with the AI provider that fits your needs: OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, GitHub Copilot and Ollama models. You can set your assistant up based on your task and personal preference.

With the new AI Query Explanation feature, you can double-check your logic in seconds. Just click “Explain Query” on the context menu, and the AI will return a clear, human-readable breakdown of what your SQL is doing. It helps you verify the purpose of each part of the query, spot potential issues, and better understand unfamiliar code.

Simply right-click on a schema, table, view, index, trigger, or procedure, then select “Describe Database Object”. Instant context appears with a clear, helpful summary explaining what each object is and how it’s used.

Get Smarter SQL Suggestions in Real Time
Writing SQL doesn’t have to start from scratch when you have AI at your fingertips. With AI Query Suggestion, you can now finish SQL statements based on what you’ve started typing. You can also add a comment above the query to guide the AI.
