Transfer data to external storage

DBeaver supports data export to external and remote storage, configured in the data transfer wizard.

Save to external storage

You can export data to external storage that’s available as a local directory on your system.

Typical examples include cloud-synced folders such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.

To use it:

  1. Install and configure the external storage client on your system.
  2. Ensure the storage is available as a local folder.
  3. In the output step, click Browse () and select the target directory.

Files are written locally and synced automatically by the storage client.

Save to remote file system via Cloud Storage

You can export data directly to a remote file system using Cloud Storage.

To use it:

  1. Configure Cloud Storage in DBeaver
  2. In the output step, click Browser remote file system button ().
  3. Select the target directory in the remote storage.
