New integration in DBeaver Community Edition lets users try CData drivers free for 30 days, with annual licenses starting at $99.

NEW YORK, N.Y., November 2, 2026 โ DBeaver Corporation today announced a partnership with CData Software, a provider of connectivity solutions, to simplify access to application data in DBeaver Community Edition. Users can now select and download CData’s JDBC drivers directly from DBeaver’s connection window.
CData’s JDBC drivers connect DBeaver to business applications such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and NetSuite. Users can query application data with SQL in the same environment they use for their databases. The Salesforce driver, for example, presents accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, and custom objects as relational tables.
Before, users had to download the driver from CData’s website, install it, and add it to DBeaver through the Driver Manager by entering the driver class, URL template, and JAR file. With the new integration, users choose a driver from the CData category when creating a new connection and download its files in a few clicks. Users then enter their connection details and authenticate with the selected application.

“We believe everyone should be able to make the most of their data, no matter where it’s stored,” said Tatiana Krupenya, CEO at DBeaver Corporation. “In the era of AI, that access matters more than ever. Our partnership with CData brings that belief to life by making it easier for our users to work with data from CRMs and other services directly in DBeaver, alongside their databases and files.”
โEnterprise adoption starts with the developer, and DBeaver is where developers already work. With CData JDBC drivers a few clicks away, they can query Salesforce or NetSuite the same way they query a database, and that data is ready for whatever they build next,โ said Amit Sharma, CEO, CData.
Pricing and Availability
After connecting, users can start a free 30-day trial of a CData driver from DBeaverโs connection wizard. Annual Single Developer Licenses start at $99, with prices varying by driver. Each license covers one developer on one workstation and is purchased on CData’s website.

CData drivers are licensed separately from DBeaver Community Edition, which remains free and open source.
The CData integration is included in DBeaver Community Edition 26.2.4, released on November 2, 2026, and available at dbeaver.io/download for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The integration will also be available in DBeaver PRO in a later release.
