We are currently porting our Data Warehouse infrastructure from Netezza to Yellowbrick. The infrastructure also uses Oracle for transactional data to monitor the status of the Data Warehouse. We were using 3 different GUI development environments for each of the databases(Netezza, Yellowbrick, and Oracle). How great it was to discover DBeaver. DBeaver allows me to work with all 3 databases within one tool. I’ve been working with DB GUIs for over 20 years and DBeaver has incorporated all my favorite features and more using a modern interface. Well done!

DBeaver is one of the best free SQL IDE’s I’ve seen. It has a great UI, it’s fast, and the Projects feature is a helpful way of organising your files and related information. If you’re considering using DBeaver for your SQL work, you can’t go wrong with this choice.

I have been using DBeaver since version 4.0 for my courses “Internet and Web Programming” and “Database Management Systems”. DBeaver is certainly an ultimate Universal client which incorporates RDBMS and NoSQL Databases. The GUI is very useful and easy to manipulate all kind of DB queries. DBeaver is remarkably fast and stable. It loads quickly and responds instantaneously. Especially, It is the only client tool for Apache Cassandra NoSQL Database in market.

We’ve been using DBeaver now for a few months, and it’s a favourite amongst our development team. We especially like the ability to colour-code servers according to development, test or production. This, coupled with being able to set certain connection as read-only, helps to add a level of safety to accessing server databases which is valuable. In addition, having a tool that can access both SQL and noSQL databases such as MongoDB, is a stand-out feature in the enterprise edition, simplifying our setup. Big thanks to the team for developing an excellent piece of software!” DBeaver is remarkably fast and stable. It loads quickly and responds instantaneously. Especially, It is the only client tool for Apache Cassandra NoSQL Database in market.

DBeaver has been a key application to help us tech our Computing Engineer postgrad courses. As our curricula includes several database engines, relational and nosql, having the support of a tool that supports them all is incredibly helpful. We have been using DBeaver for the past two years (and continue to do so) our alumni always gave really good feedback!

I use your product to evaluate scientific methods on several databases for the last couple of years. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in a easy to use UI for several SQL based Databases.

I have been using DBeaver for some time now, both for my private projects as for my university courses. From my point of view it is the best all around DBMS/data source manager allowing you to do anything from simple SQL queries to data visualization and analysis, data modeling and basic DBMS management. I love the simple and customizable interface and the fact that you can access and manage all your data sources from the same solution.

Within the context of training as programmer/analyst, our students are led to carry out various development projects. These are usually web oriented and often include a RDBMS or No-SQL engine. To help us in our efforts, we looked for a tool that would allow us to manage the majority of the database systems on the market, but that would also provide us with different information, such as an entity-association scheme (EA) or the possibility of making CRUD (Create, read, update, delete), but also the management of our RDBMS and be multi-platform. I have to forget a lot of advantages, but DbEaver brings us all the features we need and takes the hassle out of tedious manipulations, to focus on the objective of the course.
