The most interesting things are here.
Summer ended together with summer vacations. It’s time to return to work. But we didn’t waste these three months and prepared for you a list of new features for DBeaver 6.2.
As usual more details and screens in our news.
The first summer month is the time when everyone is thinking about vacation much more than about the work. But the good news is always attractive. So, we are glad to show you the new release 6.1
Spatial data viewer, database schema comparison, a lot of performance improvements, new design for execution plans – it’s quite difficult to choose the most interesting things. But we will try.
We are glad to introduce new big step in DBeaver history – release 6.0.
From 5.0 we have significantly improved support for PostgreSQL and related databases (Greenplum, CockroachDB, Timescale, etc), created advanced MS SQL server extension, added support for different cloud databases in AWS and MS Azure, added support and graphical view for InfluxDB, increased number of databases supported out-of-the-box to more than 70.
We simplified connection wizard and the process of extensions installations. We implemented visual query builder, analytical panels with charts, graphical view for the execution plan, and customisable dashboards for server health monitoring. We added mock data generators, debugger for PostgreSQL, and completely renovated data migration mechanism.
We closed more than 1600 issues on public GitHub.
And now we are ready to move forward.
But firstly, let’s look at the last changes.
DBeaver EE 5.3 is in production.
Charts for visualization of analytic data, data migration from SQL databases to Mongo and Cassandra, administrative tools, new databases – so many great things that are interesting to try. As usual the full list of the changes is in the release notes. And a bit more details about some of them can be found below.
Hope you remember that you can always find fresh news, helpful tips and tricks in our Twitter.
DBeaver EE 5.2 was finally released.
