Integrated security

Overview

Integrated security uses your operating system's built-in keyring to store passwords securely. The provider generates a user-specific 'master' password and saves it in the OS keyring. Only users who can log into the operating system account can access the secure storage.

Deleting the password

• Navigate to Window -> Preferences -> General -> Security -> Secure Storage.
• Select the Contents tab and click Delete.
• Confirm your action when prompted.
• Restart DBeaver to apply the changes.

Warning

Deleting the password will permanently erase all saved credentials.
