Integrated security

Integrated security keeps secure-storage data at DBeaverData/secure/secure_storage. Your operating system's built-in keyring protects the generated, user-specific master password/key that unlocks this encrypted storage. Database credentials remain in DBeaver's encrypted storage and aren't stored directly in the OS keyring. Only users who can log into the operating system account can access the secure storage.

Deleting the password

1. Navigate to Window -> Preferences -> General -> Security -> Secure Storage.
2. Select the Contents tab and click Delete.
3. Confirm your action when prompted.
4. Restart DBeaver to apply the changes.

Warning

Deleting the password will permanently erase all saved credentials.
